    When you ...

...have booked holidays for the 25th, 26th and 27th off work just to play it.

You know you are really looking forward to it when you go back to work the following day and book the following Monday/Tuesday just in case it is super good.

And now it looks like I am pre-ordering on Origin (I already have a disk ordered through EB) for those few extra days and trinkets.

I swear if this game sucks people are going to die. And not just bad people. Good people as well. I like to be fair.

Good work koopz posting that Caspian Border Gameplay video, see what you have done!

Yeah same here, I actually took 26-28 (wed-fri) off initially (Typo in initial post) but I sure as hell don't need much of an excuse to not go to work, kick back and super chill while waiting :D

My disky will be ready for collection on the 27th. I had a week booked from then to get some sweet BF3 loving overdose. But APRA has now decided to audit us that week, so no BF3 lovin for me on release...

The week after however is surprisingly clear...;)

Did I mention it's my birthday on Oct 27? BESTEST BIRTHDAY EVAAAAAAA! :D

I go back to work on the 27th - so I'll have to wait till 25th November to play it. Unlesss it will play on my laptop but I don't think so. :(

Dice/EA are known for delays. I am taking time-off as well, but only after they release it. So it may be week 2 or 3 after release, but this way 100% of dates. Also, expect server down-time in Australia (not just Tuesdays) for first few weeks.

Yeah I wont be holding my breath for the actual release date not changing. It's strange, something like Skyrim will release on due day for sure - you can put money on it - BF3?? I'd put money (not much!) on it being delayed :p

I get back from Holidays about a week before it's due for release - that's my new PC building week :D So I'll either be playing it in all it's glory, or fine-tuning the beast :)

A friend of mine has a sewing machine that can stitch a replica picture of any scanned jpeg's onto clothing, so I asked her to stitch the BF3 logo onto the one of the pockets of my cargo pants, it actually looks awesome! Ill post a piccy when I have time....but Im sure there some sort of copyright issue there. I'm pretty confident I'm not going to get approached by some EA/DICE rep out on the streets asking me to take my cargos off immediately due to copyright infringement. :)

lol $Penny you would hope EA wouldnt do that to ya .

As for time off , i was planning to have the whole Nov off work just for a holiday in general and get some stuff done around the house but i guess i may spend a fair bit of it getting killed in BF3 now ;)
