I can't wait for a division to be up, actually considering trying to recruit in WT forums well at least one thread to try to get some more late night NA players. Seems like all you Aussies start piling in at around 4 am my time P Should find out what happened to dunmoor one day... he would like this and lost tabs on him after SEA went live on WoT.
Oh good to see I made the regulars list Kept forgetting to post on the TOG forums, but I am on most nights and happy to mess around between levels after I get a fix in my level 13's. Grinding my ruskies up, want to hit 18 and get that jet! In other news, I wonder what they offer in terms of clanwars / clans etc for this game so far. More curious, but in all honesty I wouldnt mind clan wars in this game at all!
Been flying for a couple of weeks, went for the ultra pack so I have a prem fighter (moneymaker) for each country + usually a few bombers/ground attack. Only thing to add is that the Beaufighter is a beast once you get 6x MG + 4 cannons + rockets. I tore a JU88 to pieces the other night in HB and proceeded to cap off 30 odd ground targets. Can't wait for the Mosquito. Curious as to how many TOG guys play HB right now? I don't really get too much in to the arcade side of things (and I'm not nearly good enough to play FRB yet =). Been flying a lot of underdog nations (UK and Japan in the current HB cycle) so I don't have to wait for 15 mins to get a game... ; )
A few of us play 'Realistic' more often than arcade each night now 'D3thar, Shady, me, Bom' etc When you win it's a windfall ... when you loose ...well
Realistic at the moment is half cooked ..... If you survive your bombing run and can land and rearm or just stay alive chances are that you will win the match by just out waiting the enemy. Im keen on taking a 262 into realistic or a B17 with 3 fighter escorts , that would be cool.
I think I'll run a few more of the single player missions and get my keybinds worked out before tackling realistic. Does the mouse aim work okay in realistic or is it tripping in to joystick only territory?
certainly mouse aim can work all right in HB, but best you practise a bit in some test flights (or single-player as you say), b/c it is quite different. i am still having difficulty with my stick, but it is getting better all the time, and going to the cockpit view helps me some in that mode as well.
M5 Try the first person without cockpit for engagements and then 3rd just for flying around , I mapped a JS button to Veiw change
