Hey guys, So I wanted to start this off by admitting that during the sign up process when it asked for 'name' I stupidly put in my real name without realising it was a username. I'll ask an admin to change it when I can for sure. Now that's out of the way though, I'm a 30 year old male from Sydney, Australia. I'm married and have no kids just yet, but because of work and marital responsibilities I do most of my games either early in the morning before work 7am ish or more likely, randomly after 5pm and more consistently after 9pm till around 11pm AEST. I have a bunch of hobbies that is not only gaming, which is mainly working out at the gym, reading books, I love the movies and also playing/ watching Baseball. As I've gotten older I've found myself more focused on single player games, of which I play pretty much any decent new release (currently playing RE2 Remake and Tales of Vesperia). I have a PS4 and Switch for my single player games and a PC which is used mainly for multiplayer although it is due for a much needed upgrade now that I'll plan to do in the middle of the year. Currently looking forward to Anthem, Division 2 and Sekiro among others. My earliest gaming memory is playing 'Hugo's House of Horrors' on my dad's IBM in his workplace office. Being a kid who loved anything horror related (and still do) I was obsessed with it. I think I truely fell in love with gaming when I was a bit older and Mario 64 entranced me, while FF7 absolutely floored me with its scale and scope. I have not stopped playing games since. I want to join TOG simply because I don't have any friends who play games, I haven't for years and years now and I feel like I'm missing out on a lot of fun gaming experiences because I mostly play stuff solo. TOG also appeals to me of course because I'm 30 now and looking to have kids relatively soon, I want people with similar responsibilities (distractions) that I do because I feel people will be more accommodating compared to someone who's 18 and can play games 8+ hours a day. Saying that though, I'm still a HUGELY competitive gamer and try to be as hardcore and competitive in every single game I play, I take games fairly seriously. I just have less time to play them now. That's about it from me, I've written all this on my phone at work so I'm sure I've written way too much but I'm not going to go back and read it now. Just really looking forward to being a part of this community and hopefully meeting some like-minded people. Thanks for reading.
