    lol probably.

tera has "Focus Group Tests" going on apparently, to determine specific feedback. I'm not fussed till release tbh, beta's can ruin your interest in my experience

Not that its an MMO ... but funny you say that I had beta for MOH and maybe after release played 4 times before I have scraped it ... it might have been due to poor experiences in beta?

Still though I will be watching this now ... wish someone would just decide that they want me to play MMO's forever and match my current job pay or something!

    Exciting news! K-Tera Release Shedule!

This is good news, though in Korea they "release" the game then patch up the content as they go, which doesnt actually worry me as long I know that is the case. Other games that are finished but then require a multitude of patches worry me more.

The payment schedule is due to Net Cafe's where you play/pay by the hour, but good to see a monthly subscription also. Go to TERA to Release in Korea on 1/25/11 (Updated w/Launch Content Info) - TERA Fans Online Forums for more info.

    K-TERA Launch Schedule
    K-TERA Pricing Plans
    - Note that it is common for Korean games to have no boxed product, which means no one-time price for buying the game.
    Pre-Release Subscription Packages
    - Similar to Western pre-order bonuses, NHN is offering packages for players who subscribe to TERA before the launch date of January 24th.

Looking forward to the comments on this one.

    My concerns first:
    1) NC Soft if involved.
    2) Koreans are involved.
    3) Ergo....
    4) Grinding is almost certainly to be involved.
    5) Fear of a shallow game as has been typical of NC Soft which goes a long way to explain their poor fiscal situation.

    The upside:
    1) Fantastic graphics and design, aka Final Fantasy style
    2) Some interesting and fluid animations.

    And back to the downside:

    1) Good graphics a great game does not make.

Here's to waiting to see what happens.

I think Tera is going to be pretty big, i like the idea of the combat being action based, my thoughts are like dcuo's type of combat rather then the wow type, plus it being a fantasy rpg. Eagerly awaiting the euro beta on this one.

Good news! EME has released that they will be doing a FGT in march as well as a tentative schedule for a larger play event and a beta.

Found this article at random while looking for some lesser known information on Tera:

    Patrick Wyatt on TERAHispano.com!

    especially after I saw:

It shared a lot of very important information that I found useful. 1) During the initial game start cycle they will already have free server transfers in place so players can avoid queues. 2) Servers will have multiple channels to keep players from being too crowded. 3) the GM system will fulling be in place and active from the start to help players and reduce a lot of issues like botting/chat spam that find their way into every game these days.

Lot of good info in those links Check it out :D

I don't think it will. I never remembered the Aion NA people being in game joking around with their players in beta. I have faith (albeit cautiously) in this title and unfortunately people's experience with Aion will turn them away from trying any Korean MMO ever again. I can understand that.
