Remember to press the "save" button at the top of the list too, otherwise your changes will be lost when you leave the page.

    $5 ... still overpriced =p

Disclaimer: I have not played K&L2 or the demo. My opinions are based on heresay and doublespeak.

I've played K&L2, singleplayer was very short but bearable, multi wasn't. I doubt there's anyone else to play online with anyway.

I heard the 2nd one wasn't that bad for a quick run though. For a fiver I thought it was worth a looksie so I grabbed it.

I sort of like shortish single player games, so I might grab it.

I bought it as it was only $5, so if it stinks, I'm not too fussed.:)

By the way, those of you who don't own Batman: Arkham asylum or Defense Grid should buy now. They are both great and dirt cheap today.

I just finished Batman on the PS3 this week (bought it on PS3 to avoid GFWL) and it is a superb game, probably one of the best releases from the last couple of years, it's a steal for that price on Steam.

Empire Total War at $20 is great value if you like the genre, and if you want some more realism in your FPS it doesn't get much better then the Arma games.

I can't get k&L2 to run, crashes everytime I try to launch it. Tried the online suggestions of the openal.dll to no avail. Only $5 so you win some you loose some.

Gamersgate have a sale on as well. Its a UK based site but as far as I know there shouldnt be a problem ordering from outside. Few choice recommendations would be the Ball (50% off), Torchlight (75% off), Zombie Driver (50% off) and Larva Mortis (60% off). They also have deals on EVE, Fear collection, Deus EX, Batman GOTYE and Lost Planet.

Tropico 3 is actually cheaper here than it is for Steams Nov 26th sale

Link below takes you to the offers page, and following that is an RPS article on it.

It seems like Gamersgate is following Steam's lead and discounting the same games.

I believe its the publishers who decide the discount, so they'd go to multiple sources.

Lara Croft Guardian of the Light is a steal at the moment for $7.50

They've also patched in online co-op (was only local co-op on release). It's the best 2 player co-op game I've ever played. It's a bit like Alien Breed with lots of unlockable weapons/perks and a some very nice coop puzzle platforming. Basically a mix of Trine and Alien Swarm.

Orange Box $7.50. Wow. If you dont own it, you'd be silly not to buy it.

Can't go past World of Goo @ $2.50. It's a great game with a good balance between fun and challenge. For those suitably afflicted there's an OCD award for each level if you save the maximum number of Goos.

Young kids will love it too. Even if they find some of the levels a bit hard, they'll enjoy playing around in the freebuild.

I paid $20 or thereabouts from memory direct to 2DBoy on a pre-order, and reckon I got great value for money then.
