Tomorrow 6 february !
Make it so
Can't help it, I'm a fan
Me catching it Gold Class some time (have vouchers).
Thought about it this weekend... tickets would be on sale now, have to check with the misses...
But then NWN is this Sat night. Could go Friday night though.
yeah it looks pretty good.
If the usual "every second star trek is good factor" is factored in.
anybody seen it yet?
Saw it yesterday.....hmmm not sure. I'm not a big trekkie fan so i dont want to spoil it for anyone so ill just say they are getting to old for that shit
sorta like us
Being a fan would help, the movies are usually just episodes on the big screen with a bigger budget for fx and stuff.
There have been better episodes then movies. First Contact on the big screen was great though. I might go and see it today.
Saw it last night, thought it was ...ok, quite exciting.
Agreed with Wokka's previous comment about them getting too old for this shit.
Just got back, I enjoyed it. Was a good saturday matinee movie and as I expected just a big screen big buget episode, nothing more, nothing less.
They are getting older indeed, but the movie doesn't try and hide it, the changes in their lives and starfleet carreers are believable.
Spoken like a true biased fan
Star Trek is crap. Jar Jar is much better than Data ...
Yeah he was so good they cut him out of the 2nd one.
Star Wars has really become a kiddie movie, George Lucas should go work for Walt Disney instead.
They like the pookie bears and they still are amazed by cliches.
Is this gonna become a Star Wars vs Star Trek thread
yeah it was OK
saw it during work hours and my boss shouted us so that made it even better
Nah, just being a trouble maker. I saw it yesterday and thought it was OK. Was a bit slow at the start but certainly improved by the end.
Just came back from watching the movie, even the big screen big budget star trek does not appeal to me. I will stick with the kiddie star wars.
Saw it on thursday - I thought it was the "same old, same old"
The spent to much time moralising and not enougth time doing cool stuff. 2 out 10. (at lest they did not use trec-nology to get out of the sticky situation.)
Starwars, Startrek - prrft - Babylon 5 Rules
Never saw Babylon 5, seen the DVD's in the store but is it really that good, I heard the show is dead?
What about that Andromeda series, is that any good, is the show still going ?
Nah , its not dead - It was only story boarded for 5 yeasr so when the five years were up. It was over. I dont really llike the new spin off series. But if you can get hold of them , it is rerally work a watch - It has story line which range from one episode to one which span 2 or more season - it is really indepth. I'm not saying there weren't crap episodes but on the whole i thought it was excellent.
So unlike Star Trek it's more of a continueing story that then basically reaches it's end. So if I would get the DVD series I would be able to get the whole thing and watch it till the end.
Yep the first season is out but that it. I bought it. But I am still waiting for the rest of them to com out.
You can buy it all on video ( I only buy dvd - they last longer)
The The Borg is no match for a Shadow mother ship ;o)
