    Hello all,
Lets stack-a-public server next Wednesday. This is not a training session, just a simple fun and game session for people to learn the game.

    Game: SOF2 with patch 1.3
    Server: Ihug (203.109.252.91:20100)
    Max players: 24
Friendly fire: depends if people vote for it
    Date: Wed 5th March
Time: 9:00pm AEDT (8pm for the Qlders)
Duration: As long as you want, or until Survivor comes on TV

I am playing on the 26th Feb and 5th March, it depends if other people would turn up. I guess it is just EnglishBob and myself on the SOF2 team :p

It was a good turn out for TOG for this casual event, thanks to Bennett, EnglishBob, Ledge and Metal Storm (who is considering about joining TOG).

You may have done this already, Mad, but I recommend a second post on the GA SOF:2 Forum, and re-enrolling in the ladder.

Father did a 2nd one for BF that said something like "Only 4 more needed to get a team..." - that actually caught my eye more than the first.

You could also make the subject heading something like 'Over 25 and play SOF2?'... a lot of older players who might think they don't want to join a 'clan' because of the youngsters might read a post with a subject heading like that, but they may ignore a 'clan xyz recruiting' subject heading.

Apologies for the somewhat brief appearance last night - I was already 240mb over my monthy Telstra ( bunch of thieves !!) allowance, so was not too keen to run up too much more. I have switched onto the higher plan for next month, so issue will not arise again.

As to next Wednesday, I may not be there, as I've got a flight to Ayers Rock at 6 the next morning, which will require getting up at a time too frightening to even contemplate.

Not sure why the double post happens. I don't even get credited for it on the elite ratings !!

As to longetivity, the "Duke of Death" was doing OK last night - got a few kills, 3 in a row at one point using the shotgun. All very satisfying.

Thanks for organizing the game last night, Mad. Rekindled my love of SOF2 although I'm a bit rusty. :?

Actually got the adrenaline going again ... bit like playing in the SOF2 Demo Comp last year. And they say it's just a game ... humph! :p

Anyway, was great to see a good turnout. I look forward to next week. :D

I am planning to organise at least 1 game per week, this way we could hone our skills and learn to play as a team. I will try to book a server using GA GameCreate after 5th March, or we could always stack-a-pub.

I have selected the IHug server for our initial outing is because it is easier to get on a 24 ppl server.
