Don't even know it, obviously not an 80's band.

Bring back real music like this:

    REM: Green
    U2: The Joshua Tree
    U2: The unforgettable fire
Bruce Springsteen: Born in the USA
    Fleetwood Mac: The Best
    Supertramp: The Best
    Kate Bush: The whole story

No album in particular, just whatever popular at the time. But I do prefer electronic stuff, ie GateCrasher, WildFM stuff.

Actually it is an 80s band (late 80s), but is still going.

BTW the way I went and saw Carmina Burana in Melbourne. The opening sequence (and closing) is brilliant. The classic da-da da-da, da-da da-da, da-da daa daa daa da da :)

I found the the rest to be pretty boring actually. Maybe it was the performance. I prefer Tch (russian bit here)'s Swan Lake

With you on that one, WiB. Swan Lake is one that you can really crank up loud. Never seen it live though :(

Dvorak's 'New World Symphony' is my pick of the classics...

Couple of Floyd fans in here, by the look of it. Anyone seen them? I caught them twice at Earl's Court in the UK a few years back, great show - but I also attended Roger Water's star-studded rendition of the The Wall in Berlin, which was a stonkingly good weekend.

Superb album, Father. Thoroughly recommend it. I've had it a couple of months, and it's still improving with 'age'.

Yeah, the Death in Vegas CD is very good - I especially like the tracks with Hope Sandoval (of Mazzy Star fame) singing.

As for Metallica - I saw them several times back in the 80's and early 90's. The $5.98 Garage Days Re-Revisited EP was a fantastic piece of work.
