My opinion - looks like a PvP 20 on 20 ish Domination style battle map.
Probably Rogues Vs Goodies.

More information has come out, quick precis, its standard size groups, same max number of Dark Zone players.
Unencrypt the data terminal then download the data. Whoever reaches the download cap wins.
PvE elements still in play, you have to clear the Landmarks to get resources to unencrypt the data terminals.
Or use it to activate defence turrets or healing stations.

'premium' cash type game now. Great. Just what we needed. Can be used for:

• Weapon skins
• Backpack skins
• Clothing items
• Emotes
• Bundle containing items from any or each of the four categories above

 

Latest PTS is out. I'm reserving judgement until I get a chance to play bit it looks like Named items are getting a buff or unique talent and some of the gear-set changes look interesting. If there is a named weapon at the vendors with good skills in the top two slots buy 'em now as they won't be available from vendors once 1.6 drops.

 

Downloading the PTS patch now but at 531 KB/s it's going to take a while. Wish it was Friday already that's when my NBN gets activated......

 

Premium Credits...... vanity items.....sigh.... here comes my team mate in his flouro pink matching outfit and weapon skins.

 

Although I have always loathed the darkzone (especially solo) I will be giving it a go - it is a radical change to the play style which some will like, and others will hate.
