I hear you Unsub. Been playing the beta and BC. I don't much like MW2 but it is light years ahead if both of them.

For sure recon, played some cod4 the other night and suddenly remembered what control and response meant. MW2 has lost "some" of that, in server terms, but the basic elements are there.
I fear MOH will not clutch that entirely.
Black Ops, I am hoping for, time for Treyach to clinch it. WAW was really close but didn't lead it in right.
    Heres hoping anyhoo ;)

LOL never really looked at this game and havent heard much about it either. However, I did just get a beta invite out of the blue. Guess some how I am opted in for beta through somewhere Steam/EA/Dice who knows. So I guess now i will be taking a closer look since I can play before having to preorder or pay for the game.

    So far, I'm enjoying it.
Shame there arent many people playing in Aus, and the game server list is so flakey that it makes it hard to find Aus servers.

I do hope they release more content and client improvements soon.

It may not be the game for everyone, but I'm not a big fan of the MW series, I like this one though, seems to be a fusion of CS:S and BF series.

Isn't there an option to toggle crouch? I thought I saw it...although I tend to hold it anyway

I've tried it for several hours, over several weeks - and it's not gotten any better for me. It still looks and feels like a cheap clone of both MW2 and BC2.

    Really hope the sp shines.

Yeah...it's the same with Bad Company 2.

Like Spectre, I hope the SP is good, but I can't see myself playing it for MP.

I think the SP experience will be a good one. All of the previous SP modes have be good - great.
After playing this beta I doubt I'll even login once I get this game. Singleplay only for me with this one.

Totally agree, but since the SP experiences are usually so short now, I find hard to justify the cost of a game just for that.

Although I'm unable to join local servers (due to steam punkbuster issue I have) I really like this game. It's a nice break from BC2. I like the feel of the wepons and the landscape on the two avalable maps are enjoyable and interesting.

Hi mate. With punkbuster, get a support ticket from www.evenbalance.com, tell em what the story is and they will get you online. I know, ive had issues in the past and they reply to your ticket pretty quickly. Punk Buster issues are not Steam issues. They'll aid in sorting out the problem.

I am absolutely LOVING this. The closed beta was good, but this latest one shows me the game is exactly what I'm after.

Love that weapons and movement has a real weight to it... BC2 was always too cartoony for me but MoH strikes just the right notes... the underlying concepts (US vs Taliban) and the gritty nature of it really speaks to me.

Had a great night tonight, won just about every round out of the 30 or so I played with a minimum 2 KDR (2200+ by the time I stopped). In the end, the other team just ended up doing it for me...

Moving too fast through the install process in steam and accidently clicked no to accepting PB. There seems to be a problem that even after uninstalling and deleting everything and reinstalling it won’t install or allow PB (you don’t even get the option). As far as I can tell this only happens with the steam install.

lol - just watched that helo-vid Ned posted... who in their right mind would EVER want to play an FPS like this with a gamepad? The guy could hardly hit anything because he's swinging all over the place - looks like a horrible experience.

Replay that with a mouse, and you'd have a great time...

FPS on consoles?? Hardly anyone plays them right Bobby??? :p
