Hmm, I'm surprised that SOE would have though MxO was good value. Unless WB wasn't asking much for it ...

A lot of players joined up because it WASN'T SOE.

Ah well - I guess they can live in hope that management/policies won't change much.

Well at least now SOE will probably impliment the option to actually cancel your account online now without having to phone up to do it as it was under sega's rule.

    Totally stupid IMO

SOE + Matrix Online = Another Planetside, it will die a slow sad death from both neglect and buggy expansions, as is SOEs MO.

    *shrug*

    Pros :
Already set system of resources to be used cutting costs drastically in that area.
Probably techo's that really know how to run a MMORPG rig (not coders)

Cons : means they'll cut costs to the project more than likely
Management totally detached from the game, this may have been the case before
Marketing totally detached from the game, just means you have to look at the reviews, as SOE marketing, well, er, there's not much to describe them. It'd be great if what they marketed existed.
Can't really fault them either, if you had to sell copies, would you look at the games? or prefer not to know and work on that
