Well, I'm not as old as some of the gamers I've read about, but I nearly pass your age limit by 2X! The first game I played "seriously" would probably be Adventure (that text-based 2-word labyrinth thingie) back in the early '80s. Now, I'm a BFV junkie (and a nearly-recovering BF42 junkie, formerly known as "Izzy Dedyet"). I'm most commonly playing as "Y.I. Otta", but have also been known as "Ping Thu Hai", "Jess A. Target" or other tongue-in-cheek monikers depending on my mood (or how well my network connection or myself are functioning that night!) I frequent various servers - mostly the air map related ones (love those Hueys and Cobras!), am a devastating gunner/copilot and an improving pilot, and usually am playing around 8-10PM PST. Just found this community when trying to use your server (which ASE *said* didn't need a password, but then the server demanded one :roll: ). So that's me in a walnut-sized nutshell, I guess! So, do I pass muster, Sarge?

Welcome to TOG! Go have a look see in the BF:V forums and read the folder to get ya started. Teamspeak is a must as we like to hear each other scream as the trees jump up and take us out one by one or that invisible SA-7 nails you from across the map. :evil: The server will no longer be passworded unless either we all are practiceing dieing or have a match. ContraVersE (and anyone else who's interested): As for where to get that old text-based Adventure game, I know for a fact you can get it for PDA's now (like Palm, Handspring, etc.) - I HAVE a copy! Guess I'm still not quite over it... Thanx for all the welcome messages - I like this forum already! I get so tired of those whiny 12-year-old players with more attitude than brainz. I hate it when that happens! :? So... I still don't seem to have access to the BFV forums! Arggh!
