Wish me luck people. As a penalty for being old, and after a lot of nagging from family & friends, I get to go into hospital today (Wednesday) and have my old friend the huge varicose vein removed from my left leg. We've been together for more than 20 years but I won't miss the bugger. Unfortunately it requires a general anaesthetic and an overnight stay in hospital, so I'm out of circulation :roll: for a couple of days. Better start polishing the zimmer frame I suppose. If I haven't updated this thread in 72 hours, start the wake without me
Good luck HellDad! You'll be up and about in no time! My full sympathy as my curmudgeonly old pins aren't that good either but so far the sawbones is not threatening anything. Except long walks! Torturer! Btw, the latest BMW Mark III zimmer looks great! Vroom, vroom .... :twisted:
Good luck HD. Don't worry about a thing. The usual practice of taking photos of people under general anaesthetic and making fun of them has come under the scrutiny of the police after the photos of the superindendent were published on the web. I am sure they don't do that at the hospital you are going to. But just in case make sure you are well groomed in the nether regions. You never know who might get a look :lol:
What is this TOG surgery week? I go in on Friday for a general anesthetic while they yank my wisdom teeth out.

Don't you just go in front of a medical cabinet in one of those bunkers and then your health is back at full? Hmm... that's BF. No! Go into the Theed or Bestine Medical Centre and have an attending medic utilise a /healwound and a healthpack on you to heal the varicose vein wound... hangon, that's SWG. Aah! Got it! You run around looking for a rectangular red shimmering box lying on the ground and run over it to regenerate your health... bugger! That's JKIII. Ooh! You run behind someone with a red cross on his helmet as he drops down these medical packs on the ground. You run over these medical packs and get healed yourself... no, that's RTCW:ET. :? Enjoy your hospital stay mate. Make sure you get your money's worth in the food they provide you. Shoot you in the battlefield again soon mate.
