Got to admit it is a feature I wish I had on PS3 - Just got a new Super Slim and it is a little noisy on the disc access - Kinda used to it now but still I like my piece n quiet.
Thanks Mixa, that makes sense. after looking into it further i'm definitely not seeing the problems others online talk about. i've played just over 2 hours now and disk is not a problem...spins a little but IMO no more than the likes of Red Dead and Fable... So unless the real problems present themselves later in the game, i hope i'm all good.. I'll look do do that transfer to USB either way though..sounds like an easy enough process and frees up space on the disk (not that space was an issue per se)
Mine's not that bad on disc access noise... Though I usually have a bit of background sound, so I just don't notice it much I guess. Anyway, am up to meeting Trevor for the first time. He's a psychotic individual, aint he? And that first heist was good value. Only issues I've had with PS3 was one freeze which required a restart. But that I think was related to being a bit short on disk space for the autosave. A quick clean up of old saves and other games data sorted that.
man I'm so behind. Only just finished the first heist (jewellry store)! lol...for some reason I've been engrossed in FIFA 13 again (probably because FIFA 14 is almost upon us). Don't forget the old wiki: How to Make Money in GTA 5 - GTA 5 Wiki Guide - IGN
I may have finished the main story and most of the freaks and strangers quests. That still leaves me a lot to do though. How many people grabbed the book that shows where everything is ??? A couple of people at work picked it up but for some reason i find it defeats the purpose of finding things.
I only ever use those book if I'm absolutely flummoxed by something. My Skyrim one is invaluable when it comes to finding some of the more out of the way locations, though.
Really, I thought it was easy...I did it in first person veiw. Thank god for all the chopper flying in Arma 2/Dayz The speed challenge was great =) Best part was the para jump onto the moving target. First time got it
*sigh* I hate you guys with your time to play dem games. . *goes back to continue 3rd mission* Just don't put any juicy spoilers up mmk!!
The hard to find stuff is marked on the map (bottom of Checklist) in Social Club (I'm Hastarin there too if anyone wants to add me) so the book is largely a waste of money IMHO. That and the fact everything will be documented on Wikis and the like soon enough anyway.
I have always been the type of player that goes from mission to mission at full speed not really paying attention to anything around me. GTA V changed that i must admit with the banter between the characters in the car i have ended up spending more time driving around and on some missions i have just stopped to listen to them all talk. If you were like i was i would recommend taking your time some of them are amazing.
I found some bride(near sandy shore) that changed here mind in getting hitched. So I took here back to her fathers house in Vinewood. But on the way found an interesting river with white water. Dropped her off then went straight back to and explored the rapids with the jetski. The level of detail is outstanding. this is just the tip of the iceberg that has got me into exploring more of the map, to find interesting things on LS.
Damn you guys making me so jealous that i MUST BUY NOW and forget my pointless waiting for news on an XBOX1 version!
Pretty much Barf...I was thinking of holding out but then thought...Why??? Why wait 6 months for a slightly superior version. If I'm that into it I'll just pick up the Master Race version when released. I've more than got my moneys worth on this version and online hasn't even dropped.
^That. Nailed Trevor's first flying mission on the second try once I worked out what I was doing wrong with the controls...
