ESO pre order is %20 off at GMG - Elder Scrolls Online General Discussion - Bethesda Softworks Forums

I just tested this 20% code and the discount for AU buyers is as follows.

Imperial Edition: original $119 discounted price $95.20
Standard Edition: original $79.95 discounted price $63.96

    coupon code: Y2OZM7-MJ3VHD-0AVTI1

It seems GMG send you the early access code which you then register an account ESO and add the code. This means you could get a US TOG'r to purchase it for an even bigger discount. ;)

Yeah, saw this popup in the eso official forums.

I'm going to stick with just a digital imperial. Don't need the book or statue

I'm pretty tempted with this.... but is there going to be ongoing fees like a subscription to continue to play?

Yes, first month is free after that around $15AUD, as most Sub MMO's the longer term you pay the cheaper it is.

    Thanks C4 - I thought as much.

Shame as I cant really see the value of paying $150 p/a for a game :( Back to Skyrim for me...

GMG just sent me a 25% off coupon for ESO. I went with the Imperial version for the 5 day early access. $60 US total. I made a second account yesterday and turned on email special offers on my promary account. Both accounts got sent an account specific code the next day (today).

Yesterday I was trying to purchase with the 20% off voucher and it would not accept my payment. Today I have the 25% off email (which is awesome) and it still wont work. I have tried paying by credit card as well as paypal and I checked all my details match but still nothing. I have never had a problem with Paypal or my credit card before and I JUST WANNA BUY THE GAME :(:(:(:(:(
Anyone else had any problems with GMG?
I am in Australia (if that make a difference) and it is linking me to the Australian version in the email.

Is the problem that the coupon code won't apply? Did you cut and paste the code into the GMD coupon area? if so, I had the same problem. Add a blank space after the code and it will work.

No it seems to apply the coupon OK. It shows the discounted price at checkout anyway...

I googled my problem and there are countless people who have had the same problem with GMG. Unfortunately the common response is they have given up and purchased a game elsewhere. Trouble is that 25% is such a good offer :(

    I used Get Games
    Getgamesgo.com

It cost me US$68 (I'm from Australia) for the imperial edition.
however, I got an order number but not the code to redeem. They said they were sending the code well before the early access but is giving enough time for people to cancel their orders. They couldn't refund orders if the code has already been supplied. - its my first time to use them so I hope its on the level. It stinks that we have to pay more because we live in Aus. Comments I have seen about Get Games however have been positive so crossing my fingers.

This code was time limited. It has expired and I missed out (even though I was sent the email with it, I had overlooked it).
After playing in this weekend stress test I have decided I want the game.
I did find an active 25% code.
    YOGCST-BESTYT-EVERRR

This (almost) brings the Australian price down to the RRP for the rest of the world.

    This thread is awesome :)

As a New Zealander TESO was trying to charge me 55 Euros for the standard edition. I mean Euros get serious. We live on the other side of the world of Europe and we play on US servers.

    For the standard eidtion:

55 Euros would of been 90 NZD
60 USD would of been 72 NZD which I probably would of bought.
Thanks to this thread I paid 45 USD which is only 54 NZD :D That is dirt cheap lol (Costs 100 NZD at the 2 physical retailers here in NZ)

I sent them an email asking why we in NZ were getting charged in eruos and the reply I got back said that their system automatically detects our country and since NZ is part of Europe we get charged in euros...

I suspect it's another one of those cases of people having no idea where NZ is.

    Wow. Just Wow :/

I've been reading some other threads about people buying from GMG and GMG adapting their prices to that region's currency. I don't know if mine was a fluke or NZ just caused their site to stutter and give me the cheap US price anyway lol.

In any case I just checked bank and with a 25% discount it was 57.59 NZD all up including exchange fee for the standard edition. I'm loving it :)

I guess I also must have bought it at just the right time, because GMG charged me in USD from NZ. So I paid US$60 for the Imperial edition (with the 25% discount) - would have been US$45 for standard edition.
