Or vice versa. Hmmm...seems crops can wilt: Crops in my Garden Why Did You Wilt!!?? | Forums | Glitch
Depending on your level of gathering skills, you can either mine sparkly/beryl or nibble pigs to donate to a Shrine of Lem. To maximize one big donation, you might want to sprinkle some Enhanced Hallowed Shrine Powder beforehand. It gives you 3x the favor and XP rewards from one donation (so make it a big one). If that is problematic, some Fairly Hallowed Shrine Powder will do, too. That gives 2X bonuses for 1 donation.
Hmm, can't edit my posts so I'll just continue here. I prefer to save my rocks so I can grind them to make the EHSP powders. I mainly donate meat or milk to shrines. You gain favor equivalent to 10% of item value. Since 1 meat = 10 currants, this translate to a handy 1 favor. Milk is only worth .8 favor so I only use this if there is no meat handy and I have a surplus. So for your question, you would need 1000 meat to get your first emblem. If you were under the effect of FHSP, you would only need 500 meat. However, if you were under the effect of EHSP, you would only need 334 meat.
Iiiinteresting, thanks for the tips War. Those thingies are super expensive. Will have to calculate if they will end up saving me money...
Thinking now that i should have done Gardening before Cooking lol. Oh well...live and learn Need to get myself a little house so I can grow some stuff too....I want a house, actually I want a swamp house lol
I now have a little house. It has a pig, chicken, butterfly, wood tree, spice tree, bubble tree and 12 plots. I am happy
Wow I thought houses would be way out of a newbies reach so I haven't even looked into it! Better rethink that I guess!!
Housing can be found as cheap as 1500 currants. Great guide here: Guide to Housing Glitch Strategy Also, this Greasemonkey script that sorts realty listings by price is really handy: http://userscripts.org/scripts/source/112151.user.js
Yeah, the powders can be expensive which is why I make my own. You will need the Intermediate Admixing skill to make powders.
Curse the no edit option!! So how do I actually use the extension? I have it installed in chrome and I can view it, but.... That's all!
Do you have Greasemonkey installed? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/ Hmmm, seems you don't even need to install Greasemonkey in Chrome. It supports it natively? Beginner Guide for Greasemonkey Scripts in Google Chrome - How-To Geek After you install it, go look at the realty listings and see if they have groupings by price: Real estate | Glitch
I find buying Pleasing Amber of the AH, to be the most cost efficient way to donate, particularly if you're at the point in the game where money is no longer an issue.
AHH, I couldn't get online for a week and all my piggies died and turned into stacks of meats.... Sniff.
Victoria's Google Doc Spreadsheet, Consumables for Energy, Mood, Profit. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...ElkbDJiMmhwNTBqcVNwYkljNndXREE&hl=en_GB#gid=9 Great for those pushing the left side of the Skills tree.
Maybe if you don't have a lot of time to play but you're relying on people to put up gems for prices way less than they could get from vendoring or donating them. On the other hand, if you know exactly where to go to find the largest collection of piggies, it doesn't take much effort to collect what you need on a daily basis: http://glitch.alwaysdata.net/resource.php?resource=Pig
I'm at the point in the game where I've bought my house and can make 2k currants daily from growing things on the property and cooking them. So "dollar-for-dollar", it's more effective for me to buy Pleasing Amber, which is usually hovering around the 80% game value price because of it's abundance, than to donate meat which is far more valuable to me, because of my high Cooking scores.
