I was in a rut. No games were keeping my interest and I was waiting for others to be released. My niece is a massive Sims 4 fan (her laptop is basically dedicated to the game) and kept pushing it. There was a sale...I gave in. I've since brought Seasons, Cats & Dogs and Island Living (purely for the Conservation career). Whole hours can disappear in a blink. My Sim freaked out when the oven caught fire and burnt down half the house (she ran outside and refused to go back in to extinguish it) and killed one of my neighbors. I'm saving for a better oven. I honestly don't know how I really feel about this.
Funny you bring this up, recently re downloaded the sims 3 is the copy I have for my Mrs to play, it's the only game she likes. Enjoying it? Back in the day I used to make a house with no windows or doors and an oven.... fire shortly engulfed the house and the sim had noway of getting out.
I spend way too much time on there for my own good, probably. Recently had three separate sims that I play as all invited over to the same guy's house for a wee bit of "woohooing" now i'm stuck with the bloody consequences.
I was playing a lot of it until one of my couples had twins and then it was so crazy I couldn't keep up and I stopped playing.
