If you go to the Survivalist games section of the forums you'll come across a couple of threads concerning this game so yes there is some interest.
HELL YES!! Been checking out the game, looks awesome... and we have NIPPLES!!! Anybody who played the Conan MMO knows how much of a $hitstorm removing nipples from the game caused, looks like Failcom learned their lesson!
Finally in game an not only do we have nipples but FULL jiggly bits physics for both men and women. Pick your size/length, run and jump around, feel weird about the homoerotic display of your toon swinging free... profit!
Played it for a few hours last night, and it looks like a great start! Graphics are good-looking, less murky than the MMO Conan graphics. Although lighting effects especially round night-time seem a bit odd at times. The nudity is more honest than that of Age of Conan, especially adding dangly bits to the male characters make them appear much more vulnerable than in AoC. Our characters are still quite well groomed otherwise, apparently finding time to shave armpits and braid hair while out picking berries, killing imps and camping under the starlit nights. You die a lot to start with, but there is no loss of skill points. Only all gear. I can strongly recommend going for making 1) a weapon, 2) a water flask and 3) a mat to sleep on. 1) a weapon is pretty straight-forward. Gather sticks and rocks until you can craft a stone pick. Then gather more sticks and rocks to make a stone axe. Finally use plant matter to make twine, gather more stone and sticks to make a stone sword. Add a shield as well if you want. 2) Animal hides and twine is needed for this. Have the weapon first, as water bodies are where the nasty critters gather. 3) A mat is a respawn point, or you just pop up somewhere random. The latter is pretty annoying as you lose all items upon death and the map is crap. After that you can gather stuff for cooking fires etc, and the survival part of the game becomes a bit less frantic. Did I mention clothes? Haven't had it as a high priority to begin with. Stay out of the elements and put points in Survival as you level early on and you will be fine. The crafting is a bit rudimentary for now, and the sorting system is confusing. There seem to be a big gap between the early crafting and later recipes that requires multiple levels to get enough points for. A joy to play for now. Seems like a slightly more grown-up survival game with great potential. S
