If you pre order the game, where they have to send you the disk, then prepare to wait at least a week after release date to receive it.

With regards, to Zest, I have no idea. I wouldn't, because for starters I can't even read their web site as it is in a different language. That would be fun, if it ever comes to having to deal with customer support.;)

See this thread for other pre order options:

Yeah it took closer to 2 weeks for my OzGameShop games.

On the brightside, I missed the Day1 problems and the game was all nicely patched up by the time I hopped in to play Brink. ;)

    Yep, pre-ordered.

Although I'm having a few second thoughts based slightly on system specs, and largely on a lack of custom map/mod tools.

As long as you are prepared to wait for delivery, which won't be until at least the 1st or 2nd of Nov.;) It takes at least a week for delivery to Perth from the ozgameshop.

Yeah I'm not waiting. I'm totally taking an RDO that day.

Yep that's the only problem and like I said... with Brink it worked out quite well. By the time my copy arrived I had skipped over all the post-launch "teething" problems with ATI cards and what not and was able to slip in for an enjoyable experience. :)

Well I'll be playing to SP player first so with any luck all the MP issues will be gone by the time I get to it... which will mostly be 6 to 8 hours after launch..... :p
