Hey, if it hasn't been done, I'll drag Babylon 5 in here ;o) Babylon 5 "Third Space" Enemy at the gates (for all you snipers out there ;o) Babylon 5 "In the Beginning"
Hmm, that's why I didn't recognise the title. I've not seen one single Star Trek movie. Btw, some more great movies: The Crow (the mass shooting scene is to die for) Delicatessen The Vanishing (the original version)
If you like mass shooting scenes.. Try to track yourself down a copy of John Woo's "Hard Boiled" with Chow Yun Fat - before they both went to Hollywood to make buckets of money, but had to tone down their violence because the White Men can't handle it. 8) The movie will be in Cantonese, with English subtitles - should be available at a video place.. John Woo is the man when it comes to celluloid gun violence. Been doing it for years.
Or how about "The Blob"... not the crappy Colour remake, but the Original B&W version ;o) Ummm Jackie Chan, Police Story - Project A & Police Story - Part 2
Aah... John Woo. The director who supplies his actors with magazines with the neverending clip of ammo!
Highlander yes ;o) Highlander: End Game...... much better the ones in the middle were pretty crappy tho ;o(
Hmm top movies. Shawshank Redemption Godfather I and II Citizen Caine Battleship Potemkin Three Colours Blue La Reine Margot Ridicule Apocalypse Now (I agree not the Redux) Blade Runner Once Upon A Time in America Yojimbo Ran Seven Samurai Unforgiven Dirty Harry French Connection Dr. Strangelove or How I Learnt to Love the Bomb The Life of Brian The Holy Grail African Queen The Big Sleep Casablanca Caine Mutiny Key Largo The Maltese Falcon The Great Escape Taxi Raging Bull The Exocist The Thief of Baghdad (Silent Version with Douglas Fairbanks Snr.) Untouchables Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid 2001: A Space Odyssey Forbidden Planet A Clockwork Orange The Day the Earth Stood Still Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon Schindler's List Metropolis This list seems to be getting out of control and I haven't even touched the porn genre yet...
Well, yes, there's certainly been a lot of great movies made in our history. There's also been a helluva lot of bad ones too. And this isn't talking about the porn genre either!
According to another TOG member who shall remain nameless ( you know who you are  ) Ãt's Cailith's cod piece
Well actually some of those are not al that bad... I just cannot name them at the moment...... Remember, it takes a few bad ones to group the as all bad ;o/
You all have got to be kidding me. I'm seeing a lot of movies listed here, that while good (and movies I enjoy immensely), are no way in the Top 5 Movies of All Time. (I do know, of course, that it's all personal preference. So I'm therefore not going to carry that any further.) That being said, it's my turn to amaze and confuse people with more movie choices. 1. the Godfather 2. Raiders of the Lost Ark 3. Goldfinger 4. the Untouchables 5. Star Wars And if you've read this far, just for the hell of it, here are my 6-10: 6. the Maltese Falcon 7. the Seven Samurai 8. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest 9. 12 Angry Men 10. Apocalypse Now - John
In no order: Fight Club The Usual Suspects The Professional (aka - Leon) The Shawshank Redemption The Indiana Jones Trilogy WORST movies of all time: Driller Killer (no, i'm not kidding) Wing Commander (loved the games, loved the books, i hate the movie)
Here are some Honorable Mentions in my list. Wolf Roman Holiday To Catch a Thief Bringing Up Baby Blazing Saddles Armageddon In no particular order.
Yes, it's as good as Spiderman but not quite as well done as Batman. Maybe it's because I'm a big fan of Jennifer Connelly, but I thought the hulk's love interest was a bit more complex and interesting than spiderman's. And like Spiderman, there was a good lead-up to the all-out action scenes in the Hulk. I didn't really like the green goblin as spiderman's nemesis, but the final battle in the Hulk was enjoyably different and really well done, if a bit surreal I like TOG's top movies better than those listed at the IMDB or Rotten Tomatoes. http://us.imdb.com/top_250_films http://www.rottentomatoes.com/top/bestofrt_year.php
