Hmm - Jihad horsey - now there's an idea
Anderzel on Snipers
Yes, Sniper's are much better/easier in the BF1 beta...
Great for tankers...
Bad for infantry and light vehicles...
Now how are they going to nerf them?
They won't nerf them imo. The map is kind of designed for tanks and snipers, so they excel. It won't be as easy on the smaller maps.
I don't mind strong snipers, reminds of me of BF2. The other classes have ways to fight back also - assault's AT rocket gun, medic semi-auto (Selbstlader Mondrian) and support weapons with bipods.
I hope you are right...
I was a little "tongue in cheek", btw...
My premise was:
*The sniper class is enjoyable even for less skilled people...
*We can't allow that!
*How can spoil the fun for them?
I jumped on tonight and it was all over.... was so looking forward to at least a couple of rounds...
There have been a few posts with data scraped from the game (beta). This is apparently the list of all weapons in the game..
Here is a gallery with all of the weapons mentioned in this list.
Also confirmed: 64 man air superiority (now that will be a spectacle).
It includes this bad boy, which you can mount on your pushbike!!
All vehicles in the game (extracted from beta files)
Argonne Forest, Suez Canal, Fao Fortress, Chateau
AKA-ART speculating on the vanilla maps in the game
Fighter plane footage
I still think anti-ground weapons being able to almost one-shot planes is kind of broken. The "dog fights" are usually over within a few seconds. Just be the guy to get on his tail and land that anti-ground shot.
Another video of the awesome voice acting
7:45 for a few of the funniest ones.
Jack goes over all weapons
So I see the minimum specs are out and although I had no issues to indicate otherwise when I played the beta my system doesn't meet the minimum requirement :w
My CPU is significantly older than the one listed and I have no issues either. I guess it (largely) comes down to GPU?
yeah probably. However, some other maps might be a little more demanding.
