    Dear Members,

Please advice, is it worth pre-ordering BAttlefield 1.

After release, Jb hifi price is $59 (standard), and few others at similar range.
Game is launching mid week, other than 3 days early access. Early access is nothing to me, as I'll be working till weekend any. What one is going to miss.

    Please give you views:::::

    Regards!

I think there are a mix of views here. I am definitely going to get it, and probably through JB too, but I am no real rush. I am likely to be away for work at both early access time and when normal release comes out too.

I guess it's worth whatever you're willing to pay for something.

I've gone all fanboy and pre-purchased the deluxe version with early access and also paying for Origin Access, so I'll be able to play 10 hours from the 13th October as a trial.
If you don't mind waiting a bit and also want to save some money, then just get it from JB and join in the fun a week later. :)

    $59 is a bargain imo!

I'm also being a fanboi, I'll grab Origin Access and deluxe from Origin.

Keep in mind though -- the servers will probably be unstable during the first few days..

but one less DDOS source Cheese! that is good news. that might just leave EA to have issues with their servers rather than being attacked. What could possibly go wrong?

I've been to JB today for something and confirmed, if pre-ordering then $69. Why there is price difference, when order through origin? After release price will be low.

$59AU is a pretty damn good price for a AAA title. I'm going the XB1 route so it'll probably be ~$90 at 10% off. :\

If I order from JBHIFI it gets shipped from Victoria to my home in Brisvegas. I don't want to be watching the door for 3 days. Does anybody know whether JBHIFI will have copies in store for pick up?

6 hours download. However, I don't think I'll play until Friday night, when more people have it.

Woke up a little earlier this morning so I can start the download .. should be ready this evening when I get home from work. Unfortunately I don't think my gtx760 will be strong enough to run the game at respectable graphic+frame rate fidelity, so now i'm looking at gtx1070s and perhaps a new g-sync monitor to go with it.

I bought a 1070 + a 27" 1440p 144Hz monitor recently. Massive improvement. BF1 Beta looked great and ran pretty smoothly at 85-110 frames on Ultra.

I've been playing the Witcher 3 on it recently, looks incredible.

I had a EVGA FTW 1070 and the Asus PG279Q in my ebay cart during last weeks tech sale for a total of $1600ish, in hindsight I should have followed through with the order. Guess i'll wait for another sale or just order from Amazon.

Single player seems to be getting a lot of kudos so far. I normally don't bother with SP in FPS but I'm looking forward to BF1's.
