    Yay! it's back!!
Those sly Sony dogs mailed it back to my PO box and didn't email me to say they had. It arrived this afternoon.
Now I have to set it back up again...

I will be up for a regular burnout night once i get my PS3. That will be 5 weeks as i have to wait till i fly out to Cairns and Brisbane for the holidays.

Thought about getting one posted to me but the post office isnt open lately in this tiny little town so i dont want to take the chance.

I'm curious, when you got yours back, did you get the 60GB with PS2 functionality back or was it a newer machine with that stuff cut out?

Still trying to decide what to do with mine. I don't want to loose the ability to play PS2 games even though I don't really play any PS2 games anymore. ~shrug~ There are some good PSN games being released soon too and I'm still playing Wipeout HD, choices choices....

No, no, I got back the same model as I originally had, complete with 4 USBs, card readers and PS2 abilities. In fact, the one I got back was in better nick than the one I sent for repair (there were scratches, etc - remember I bought it second hand). The one I got back was in a new casing - still had the protective placcy wrap.
By and large I was v happy with what I got back. The bummer was waiting for it.
