    Hi TOG,

Does anyone have suggestions on a mod/application for in-depth analysis of server side chunk / lag /performance issues?

One that came recommended was Opis but it appears to have several issues with 1.6.4 (ie: does not work and prevents server start).

    Suggestions?

End goal is to fire up my small SMP world and find out what's causing our block lag; we're only five players in a reasonably spread out area with minimal gear. Shouldn't have such huge issues.

    Thanks in advance.

Opis works fine in 1.6. It's running on Serenity. It's probably your best bet for tracking problems down.

If I try and run Opis, both server and client refuse to boot. Is it possible that it's incompatible with Techworld specifically?

I am confused, then... Opis that I know about is a map program. Isn't it? The one that comes with techworld?

Opis is an admin tool that ties in to mapwriter to display some of its results.

Interesting; okie dokie. I tried /opis as per the youtube tutorial but nada. I will go hunting in the config files for the command (yes, I did rename the file from .zip.disabled to just .zip ) :)
